Tiebreak Tennis Academy (TBTA) was formed by three tennis players with one thing in common: our love for everything tennis! TBTA's goal is to teach, share, and grow this game, and to create a fun, yet competitive learning environment.
Meet Our Team
As a RSPA (formerly USPTA) Tennis Professional, I am dedicated to developing young tennis players' skills and passion for the sport. I provide personalized coaching and guidance to help players improve their techniques and performance on the court, fostering a love for tennis in the next generation of athletes. Certifications: RSPA (USPTA level 2), RPT (International Registry of Professional Tennis) Competition and Professional Coach Certified, and The Gigi Method Professional Certification for Doubles. Head of Freedom High School tennis program in South Riding, VA. Former Division 1 player at James Madison University.
As a former ATP tour professional, I will use my experience to teach the skills and discipline needed to play this game at the highest level. But my main emphasis will be to teach this wonderful game to players of all ages and experience. I want to grow this game and teach it so that all kids, of all levels, can fall in love with this game the way I did. Credentials: Former world ranked professional player with ATP tour. Former NTRP rated 6.5 player. Top ranked junior in China. Assistant head coach Freedom High School boys tennis team.
I will handle all scheduling, curriculum and general information inquiries. I will also make sure that our courts are clean, maintained, and that our equipment in excellent condition. My main goal will be to ensure the highest standards of business and customer service are met, but you may find me on the court teaching classes as well as I have 40+ years of tennis playing experience and love this game!
